In Memory of Kate Duffy:

We were deeply saddened by the news of the death of a famed editor in the Romance Industry, Kate Duffy was an inspiration to all who knew her, she was the editor for a lot of Kensington Authors and others that are no longer with Kensington and she also helped Judith McNaught publish her first novel, 'Whitney, My Love' when other publishers wanted to send it to the trash.  Kate Duffy was the editorial director for Kensington Books and she helped launch the Kensington Brava line.  Kate past away on the morning of September 28, 2009, no word as of yet on the cause.  Kate will be greatly missed and when we find out anymore information we will post it here.  Please keep her friends and family in your thoughts and prayers.  The Book Reviews Team sends our condolences to everyone who has been blessed by Kate and touched by her magic.  Heaven now has a bright new star.
